Post Chemo Update - Feb 14th

Hi everybody. Kim had an ultrasound this week on her ovaries and everything looked good. PRAISE!!. The reason they were concerned with the ovaries is that since she tested positive for the BRCA2 gene mutation (likely the reason she got breast cancer in the first place at such a young age) there is also an increased risk of ovarian cancer (among others). We were hoping to get a new date for surgery but one of the surgeons is out of town for two weeks, so the date remains March 17th. The fact that it is so late worries me a little bit but the Drs are not worried at all and have affirmed to me that Kim is safe.

Kim has been able to resume most activities and she is feeling pretty good. Her energy level seems to be much better and I think her overall endurance is improving.

Thanks for the prayers. Prayer request is that there would be that no regrowth between now and surgery!
